Amanda Harris, creator of Baby Texas, approached me in 2021 to help articulate her new brand’s identity for its steamy launch.
I wrote the following copy to translate her vision for Baby Texas—
“Emerging from the soft sweet lips of hell is this summer’s driller thriller! Raised on WWF and Cadillac dreams, this Cowgirl from Hell broke loose with a stone cold heart and furious thighs. Yes, daddy’s girl is all grown up and she’s got the devil inside her. Will she spare your soul or devour you whole? Roll the dice on the dark side and submit to your reckoning by the Cowgirl from Hell.
Pouting their way to your TV set, Baby Texas shamelessly reveals their season debut.
Handmade by a small group of women in the Lone Star State, the Cowgirls from Hell collection of slinky, bespoke pieces straddles the line between 90’s sleaze and Parisian class. From monster truck tees adorned in Swarovski crystals, to tenderly beaded neon G strings—nothing is spared at this crossroads of low and high culture.
It’s meticulous.
With sleek heat and timeless French technique, bite your tongue and taste their lightning-drenched line for yourself…if you can handle it. Because Baby Texas is hot n' fresh American couture, unapologetically shaped to make you sweat.
